I have extensive experience in the African Conflict
Resolution. During the end of the Aparthied I worked as
National Coordinator of the National Initiative for
Reconciliation and then for the National Peace Secretariat
during South Africa's 1994 transition. I undertook media
liaison for the 1999 South African elections in the
violence-torn KwaZulu-Natal region and later for Accord
during the DRC and Burundi peace negotiations.
I spent a number of years working with the African Centre
for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes as Strategic
Communications Manager. During this time I developed and
implemented all aspects of the organisations communications
strategy including all communications aspects for the
Africa Peace Awards.
More recently I have fulfilled the role of Global Development Manager for the Africa Peace Centre.
