I have been a Christian for over 30 years now and during that time I picked up quite a lot of “theology” – I have a sense of the big picture of the bible and a sense of how my life fits into that. As I journeyed in my faith I learnt new things and edited my understanding of God and the big story.  In reality we all do that.  Imagine if I had written it down and then used a red pen to scratch out this bit, add in that bit, tweak something else – then about 10 years ago I realised that I had more edits (more red pen) than original story. It was time to take a clean sheet and write out a new version of the story.  But where to start?
